As a result of the work of the JASAT teams, it was determined that Übeydullah M.’s SIM card was inserted into the mobile phone that was turned off on the day of Komak Bay’s disappearance in January 2020. Ubeydullah M., the suspect in the incident , was detained by the gendarmerie teams after the clothes and bones sent for the criminal investigation were compared to Komak Bay in the DNA test. Ubeydullah M., who was arrested, confessed to killing Komak Bay.
