The last 20 days have been entered in the requests to return to work, which the government has made to prevent long-term unemployment and to encourage the employer. Many facilities are provided to companies that have reinstated their former employees who were unemployed in the last 16 months.
According to Hazal Ateş’s report from Sabah, the employer, who benefits from the support of his former worker, will continue to employ 5 of the 9 people he hired after the support ends. Therefore, return-to-work support will also encourage permanent employment.
Support of 11,916 lire will be provided to the employer (1,324 lire per month) who hires 9 former workers. Workers who are employed without insurance may also benefit from support by notifying the Social Security Institution (SGK).
NO INSURANCE WILL BENEFIT ALSO
The deadline for requests to return to work for workers laid off between January 1, 2019 and April 17, 2020 expires on December 31. There is an intense application to SSI notifications for getting back to work. Workers laid off while working without insurance and those who are still employed without insurance can also benefit from this right. Fines imposed on the employer by uninsured workers will also be eliminated.
Support payments made to the employer and the employee within the scope of this regulation will continue during the termination ban. The firing ban has been extended until January 17 for now. However, according to the law, there is the possibility of extending the ban until June 30, 2021.

The employer will continue to employ half of the workers hired as part of the return to work support. Thus, 5 of those who employ 10 workers will continue working and 5 of those who employ 9 workers.
NO RETURNED DEBT WILL BE INSURED
Within the scope of return-to-work support, employers who begin employing these insured workers will not be retroactively charged and their penalties will be removed. These insured persons will be deemed to have waived their rights, except for wages and rights related to wages. Those who are not accepted for reinstatement must inform İŞKUR about the situation. In this context, 1,30 lire will be supported per month, depending on the household situation.
DOES NOT INCLUDE ABROAD
The regulation does not cover workers that Turkish companies take abroad in the field of contracting services. In current practice, companies that employ uninsured workers pay a monthly minimum wage penalty and unpaid premiums with late payment interest. Incentives and supports received during the hiring period of uninsured workers are also charged with interest.
WILL INCREASE WITH THE NEW MINIMUM WAGE
To employers who hire those made redundant by the Employment Agencies Law 1324 pounds of support to be provided by Turkey. If the worker has to take unpaid leave, a monthly salary support of 1,168 lire will be provided. If the employer does not agree to hire your former worker, an application will be provided to İŞKUR with a monthly support of TL 1,030.
