Four days after the death of Çalışkan’s wife, his father, İskan Kaya, died of coronavirus. Mourning the death of her husband and father, the nurse’s older brother Muzaffer Kaya, who was a math teacher at Sermet Yalçın Anatolian High School on November 20, succumbed to the coronavirus. On November 23, her mother Hava Kaya was unable to survive the coronavirus she contracted.
