CHP President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu responded to questions from Medyascope editor-in-chief Ruşen Çakır.
The highlights of Kılıçdaroğlu’s comments are as follows:
* Out of my respect for the state, I don’t want to say that the state listens to us, some places and circles listen to us, I know.
* Erdogan said all together, “Oh Kılıçdaroğlu, we even know your breath.” I have already said, the Minister of the Interior made a strong statement in terms of audience. While he was a minister, he rested without their knowledge. In a country where there is no democracy, you will listen to your opponent.
Kılıçdaroğlu gave the following answer to the question of will you be a presidential candidate?
* In my opinion, the question to ask is this. How do people want a presidential candidate? Should the president be the only candidate, should he decide everything? Is the president biased or impartial? Should the president be someone who avoids accusations against him for his patrimony or intervenes in the judiciary? Can the president live a humble life with his family or is he disconnected from society?
‘BİZİM ADAYIMIZ BELLİ’
* My opinion is this; Look, there’s no argument in the one-man regime. They all show a person. They say that it feeds us, transfers the world’s money, that’s why our candidate is safe.
* So what are we saying? We are an alliance of nations, we are looking at democracy. It doesn’t matter if it was Ali or a father. What will the president be like, what will his powers be? We have to insist on this.
*They want the continuation of the one-man regime. We don’t want a one-man regime.
*Why does Abdulkadir Selvi speak on my behalf or does someone dictate it?
* They say you will give them certain sentence patterns and you write this, and they say “of course” and you write.
Does the state listen to you? Such a claim is circulating, where does this idea come from?
* Out of respect for the State, I don’t say “The State is listening to us”, but some circles, some places listen to us, of course.
* I don’t need to say this, Erdogan said, “Oh Kılıçdaroğlu, we even know your breath.”
* You know, they are listening. I said that. The Minister of the Interior made a strong statement on this issue and it was listened to without his knowledge.
* Is there such a statement from Turkey? Are the phones tapped? Yes, it is resting. There is no point in denying this, it is a known fact. In a place where there is no law, democracy, security of life and property, you listen to your opponent, you are at the service of the authoritarian regime.
* In the authoritarian regime, it develops its language accordingly and elaborates its programs accordingly. These are known facts. It is out of the question that we do business undercover. We can easily say what we think.
* In newspapers, radios, televisions. We are a big family after all. We get into trouble from time to time in that big family, we determine our own policies. We do this within ourselves as much as possible.
* We don’t care that these are learned in advance from the ruling wing or that they form a different policy for it. Because we make both our behavior and our speeches transparently in public.
EXPLANATION OF THE ‘MUHARREM İNCE’
Kılıçdaroğlu used the following statements about the establishment of a new party by Muharrem İnce:
* You can pass. There are rules for forming a party. Expenses You send a request to the Ministry of the Interior. You organize your party. We see the details after installation.
* If a person is unhappy at CHP and does not like the policies that it follows, they can leave and follow a different path. There is nothing we can say about it.
