Özboyacı provided the following information about the regulations that will be made regarding the use of skurers in the bill:
“There are paths reserved for electric bicycles, electric scooters, and regular bicycles. We completely close these bike lanes to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. By law, we enact it and give the advantage of passage to scooters and bicycles. Under the proposal, scooters cannot Accelerate at more than 25 kilometers per hour. Age was determined at 15 years. No driver’s license is required. Only personal cargo will be transported and only one person can drive it. Not used on roads with a speed limit greater than 50 kilometers per hour. Environmentally friendly transport vehicles will become widespread, bike lanes will be built. With the encouragement of electric scooters, carbon and greenhouse gas emissions will be greatly reduced. Hopefully, when these steps are implemented, we will see a very important contribution in the future.

Emphasizing that bicycles and scooters will not jeopardize traffic safety, Özboyacı said: “It does not seem right to us to be everywhere in a way that puts traffic safety at risk. Their locations are clear. Planning should be done in a way that does not jeopardize the safety of traffic, vehicles, pedestrians and themselves. We want to sit down, how to integrate the bicycle master plan into the transport master plan, a topic to be discussed by the technicians. Therefore, a solution is found for environmentally friendly means of transport. Because I know that many of our citizens in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir want to use bicycles, they want a bike path; But you can’t take this opportunity enough.
