Vice President Fuat Oktay delivered a speech on behalf of the government in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey regarding the proposals of the Central Government Budget Law of 2021 and the Central Government Final Account Law of 2019.

“THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE CONTINUES ITS WORK”

Fuat Oktay said:

* (Legal reform) Our Ministry of Justice is currently working on the Human Rights Action Plan.

* After an extensive consultation process, the Draft Plan of Action has been prepared, which will be our roadmap on human rights.

* In addition, all stakeholders in economic life meet, especially the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank, and the draft of the Human Rights Action Plan and legislative needs are reviewed.

“We will take new steps in the coming months”

* We have started a new reform process that takes into account the approaches of all segments of society.

* In the coming months, we will take further steps towards strengthening the principle of the rule of law, a predictable, easily accessible, fast and efficient judicial system.

* We are determined to implement the regulations that meet the expectations and needs of our nation one by one after meticulous work.

RESPONSE TO BUDGET CRITICALS

* This budget is our nation’s budget, which we have placed in the highest human development class on the UN Human Development Index.

* Those who call this budget the interest budget and the budget of the haramzads are those who have not driven a single nail in these lands, they have despised the people of this country for years, and that is why they have been assigned by this nation with the opposition and sentenced to opposition.
