The qualifying groups have been determined prior to the 2022 World Cup to be held in Qatar. Turkey, Group G, Holland, Norway, Montenegro, Latvia, equaled Gibraltar.

Group C: Italy, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Lithuania

Group E: Belgium, Wales, Czech Republic, Belarus, Estonia
Group F: Denmark, Austria, Scotland, Israel, Faroe Islands, Moldova
Group D: Holland, Turkey, Norway, Montenegro, Latvia, Gibraltar
Group H: Croatia, Slovakia, Russia, Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta
Group I: England, Poland, Hungary, Albania, Andorra, San Marino
Group J: Germany, Romania, Iceland, North Macedonia, Armenia, Liechtenstein.
13 teams from Europe will go to Qatar
National teams from 55 UEFA member countries will compete to be among the 13 teams that will participate in the tournament that will host Qatar.
In the European qualifiers, teams will be divided into 5 groups of six and 5 groups of five. The teams will meet twice in their groups, on the indoor and outdoor fields.
The 10 teams that complete their groups as leaders will qualify directly for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The runner-up of the group with 10 teams and two teams from the UEFA Nations League will go out to the play-off matches and seek a visa for the World Cup.
After the play-offs of 12 teams to be played in a single match elimination method, the other 3 countries that will participate in the World Cup will be determined.
