Ship crossings were reported to be suspended in both directions on the Bosphorus, due to heavy haze and fog reducing visibility.
In the statement made by the Istanbul Port Authority of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, it was stated that the visibility range was reduced to half a mile due to the intense fog experienced on the Bosphorus.
For this reason, it was observed that ship crossings were suspended in both directions from 0730 hours.
