Within the scope of the fight against the corona virus, a ban on intercity travel has been imposed in recent months. The ban was applied in 30 metropolitan cities and Zonguldak. Due to the increase in the number of cases, a travel ban between cities was back on the agenda.
The question was answered after the Council of Ministers meeting held the other day. There are no new restrictions for intercity travel. For those over 65, the obligation to travel with the HES code continues.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SPECIAL VEHICLES
According to the published circular; People without a specific excuse are prohibited from traveling between cities in their private vehicles. Citizens who do not present an excuse may carry out interurban transport by plane, bus or ferry.
The list of excuses published by the Ministry of the Interior is as follows;
– Those who want to be discharged from the hospital where they are treated and return to their original residence, who are referred with a medical report and / or have a medical appointment / check previously made,
– To attend the funeral of him or his spouse, first-degree relative or deceased brother or to accompany the funeral transfer (maximum 4 people),
– Those who have arrived in the city they are in in the last 5 days but have no place to stay but want to return to their place of residence (those who have arrived within 5 days, the travel ticket, the registration of the vehicle from which they come, other documents that prove their trip, and information),
– Those who will attend the exams announced by ÖSYM and other core exams and their assistants,
– Those who want to return to their settlements completing their military service,
– A letter of invitation from private or public to the daily contract,
– Released from penal institutions
