In Istanbul Sultangazi, around 12:00 yesterday, a chilling event occurred at Cebeci Mahallesi Dökümcüler Sitesi. Apparently, Şahin K., who left the house with a shotgun, went to the street where his son Mehmet K. was, with whom he had argued on the phone. The father and son discussion continued here as well.
He made no one close to his son
According to the news on DHA, Father Şahin K. shot his son with a bomb rifle that was with him during the argument. Mehmet K. wounded in the foot fell to the ground.
While the police and the 112 Emergency Service were being notified, the surrounding people wanted to help the injured young man. However, Şahin K., shotgun in hand, did not let anyone approach him until police arrived, waiting with his son.
POLICE ARRIVED AND DEFERRED
Police teams arrived shortly after, took Şahin K.’s shotgun and neutralized him. While Şahin K. was detained, the medical teams that attended the injured young man intervened.
As Mehmet K. was taken to the hospital by ambulance, it was learned that he was in good health.
“IT WAS THREATENED BY MONEY”
It was revealed that Baba Seahin K., in his first statement at the police station, said that his son Mehmet K. constantly threatened him and his wife for money. The police investigation into the incident continues.
