According to the news from the Sabah newspaper, known for its closeness to the government, new measures against the coronavirus are on the agenda.
The inevitable increase in cases and the increase in the number of deaths brought with it increasingly strict measures. Two critical restrictions come to the fore after Erdogan’s statement, “We are obliged to take and will take further action,” made the day before.
Curfew travel ban is on the agenda
After the increasing number of cases, it is on the agenda that the Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Health recommends that the curfew, which has been applied between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. on weekends for two weeks, be implemented including working days . Full-day curfews are also on the agenda on weekends. Additionally, travel restrictions (entry-exit) may be imposed in some critical cities. If the number of cases does not decrease in the coming days, the Coronavirus Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Health will further toughen these measures.
HES code requirement
It is planned to reduce the three-hour period in which these age groups, who pose a high risk in the epidemic, can go out every day or make a new regulation so that they can only go out on weekends. The HPP code requirements covering certain points before the intensity can now be brought to market for the whole of Turkey. Especially in closed and flat markets, efforts are made to enter it with the HES code.
In addition, it was forecasted that there would be no travel due to the cold and the restriction between provinces was not put into effect in the decisions we approved. In the next few days, depending on the evolution of the virus, intercity travel may be prohibited. You may not be allowed to leave, especially from cities with high caseloads.
What cities can be banned?
In the last press conference in which the Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, announced the critical provinces, 15 cities highlighted. These provinces are the following; Edirne, Adana, Hatay, Artvin, Aydin, Canakkale, Kirklareli, Ordu, Trabzon, Tokat, Zonguldak, Mersin, Osmaniye, Samsun, Mugla, Bursa, Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Kocaeli
In addition to all this, the electronic wristband application started in Kırıkkale will be launched throughout the country to prevent cases and contacts that need to be isolated in their residences from going out onto the streets. New features will be added to the HES (Hayat Eve Fit) code app and different steps will be taken to facilitate patient tracking.
Hotels arrangement
According to the last minute circular issued by the Ministry of the Interior, the restaurants in the hotels will only serve hotel customers and will not be able to receive deliveries. Inspections for these places will be increased. The condition of hotel guests who eat at the facilities will be checked. Music will not be broadcast at these venues after 10pm.
