4 people from the same family died in 15 days in the Tarsus district of Mersin due to the corona virus (Covid-19).
Murat Karabulut, who is a real estate agent in the district, was hospitalized some time ago after falling ill. Karabulut, who tested positive for the corona virus, died on November 14 at Tarsus State Hospital, where he was treated. The mother, Fadime Karabulut, who experienced the pain of losing her son, was hospitalized when Kovid-19 showed symptoms. Mother Karabulut, whose tests came back positive, passed away on November 16.
Another sad news came from the Karabulut family, who lost two members to Kovid-19. Older sister Selda Karabulut, who was treated at Mersin City Hospital, died on November 24, after tests for Kovid-19 came back positive. Buket Karabulut, Murat Karabulut’s 7-month pregnant wife, who tested positive for coronavirus and later recovered, was taken to a private hospital on November 25. Despite the interventions that were made here, the 7-month-old baby in the womb died.
Finally, Murat Karabulut’s other older sister also got a crown. MESKİ staff from Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, ,ehriban Karabulut Bircan, who was treated at the hospital he was taken to, died as the last member of the family. Şehriban Karabulut Bircan will be buried today at 2:00 p.m. (at the funeral ceremony to be held in the cemetery of the city of Tarsus.
