Özlem Özcan, who lives with her family in their home in Esentepe Mahallesi, Merkez Sarıçam district, and is a senior accountant in a private company, has been engaged to Muttalip Bayram, a friend from high school, for some time. The couple, who set their wedding date as November 22, continued their preparations until that day.
Özlem Öirán, who felt ill on November 20, went to a private hospital the next day and received treatment. DENIED AFTER TWO DAYS
Two days after their wedding, Muttalip Bayram took her husband, whose grief and complaints had increased, to Adana Çukurova Balcalı Hospital the next day. The young woman underwent treatment after the test result was positive. After examination by the doctors, it was discovered that the virus descended into the lungs of Özlem Öternas. Özlem Ö then, who was treated in the intensive care unit on November 25, passed away on November 26 despite all the operations carried out there. The body of Özca, who died 4 days after their wedding, was transferred to the hospital morgue.

THE WIFE COULD NOT ATTEND THE FUNERAL
Following the procedures, the body of the young woman was transferred to the Buruk cemetery, taking into account the rules of the pandemic. Sorrowful father Hasan Ö then (62) and mother Ayşe Ö then (61), who lost their daughter 4 days after their wedding, had a difficult time standing at the funeral. Muttalip Bayram, who lost his wife for 4 days, was unable to attend the funeral because he was in quarantine after the coronavirus test came back positive. The funeral of Özlem Ö then was buried in tears after the prayer.
‘WE SHIP WITH THE BRIDE WE SHOW’
Yakup Öcanes, son of Özlem Öternas uncle, said that the pain they experienced was not a description and that they still couldn’t believe it, he said that they decided to celebrate the wedding after the test result was negative for his cousin. Stating that the cousin was very happy on the wedding day, but received the news that it got worse after 2 days, Yakup Ö then said: “We sent it with a wedding dress 4 days ago, we received it with a shroud today. I want everyone to take precautions against this epidemic. It is so painful. He always said ‘wearing a wedding dress is my dream’. He fulfilled his dream, but life took him away from us. He said ‘we’ll see good morning’ on the wedding day. It didn’t happen, ”he said.
