Nihat Taşardı, who was engaged in real estate trading, got into the luxurious jeep with 34 DKF 631 license plates, which included Mehmet Ateş and Mustafa Tepe, who had the same business and had a dispute. Mehmet Ateş, seriously injured, was taken by ambulance to Kepez State Hospital. The fever could not be saved despite the intervention in the hospital.
The relatives of the deceased had a nervous breakdown. The bodies at the scene were taken to the Antalya Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy after investigations. The police launched a full-scale investigation into the incident.
