Sözcü newspaper editor İsmail Saymaz shared remarkable information from the MHP front on the crisis that erupted after statements by the member of the Presidential High Advisory Board (YİK), Bülent Arınç.
A senior MHP official, to whom Saymaz did not give his name, said: “Although we have taken very drastic measures to prevent the cohesion of the Popular Alliance, Bülent Arınç made statements that shook my cohesion for a long time. But now the protection shield is up ”. Saymaz evaluated the MHP member’s statements as “MHP members now think that (Arınç’s) ticket has been cut.”
Saymaz, who cited his meeting with a senior MHP member on the Kübra Par’la Açık ve Net program broadcast on HaberTürk TV, used the following statements:

We removed Erhan Usta from the group vice-chair and left our group. We dismissed our assistant, Sefer Aycan. We say goodbye to our organizations and some of our provincial presidents who disrupted this cohesion. Where does Bülent Arınç’s protective armor, guard, and privilege come from?

Saymaz, on the question of what these statements mean, “say the members of the MHP; They think their ticket is already cut, ”he replied.
WHAT HAPPENED?
YİK presidential member Arınç made statements on a program he recently attended stating that Osman Kavala and Selahattin Demirtaş could be released with the ‘legal reform’ indicated by Erdoğan. Following these statements, some names of MHP proponents and supporters reacted harshly to Arınç.
Speaking three days after the remarks, AKP president Erdogan evaluated Arinc’s words as “fighting fire.”
Arinc, for his part, said in a statement he made today that Erdogan was speaking slowly in a way that offended him, noting that he would resign in a face-to-face meeting.
