It was reported that Alejandro Mayorkas will be the Minister of Internal Security. Mayorkas, who previously served as Vice Minister within this institution, will go down in history as the first Latino to be Minister of National Security.
You will be tasked with reshaping Mayorkas’s ministry and changing Donald Trump’s border policies that have drawn backlash from the world. Trump was using this ministry to enforce his brutal policies on the Mexican border that led to the breakdown of families.
Candidates nominated for ministerial positions by the President of the United States must be approved by the Senate.
Former US Secretary of State John Kerry was the name Joe Biden chose as his special representative on climate issues. Senate approval is not required for Kerry to be appointed to this position.
