Journalist Murat Çelik had a telephone conversation with Bülent Arınç.
Stating that President Erdogan made a very heavy speech, Arınç also addressed the issue of resignation in his remarks.
Murat Çelik shared the details of his meeting with Arınç from his social media account as follows:
* 1.) I spoke with Bülent Arınç by phone. His explanations are as follows:
– I am an emotional person. Yesterday’s speech hurt a lot. The president made a very heavy speech.
– There have been some rumors that I quit, but for now this is not true.
* 2.) Bülent Arınç:
– I do not give up Twitter or Instagram like others.
– Regarding the situation, Mr. I am looking forward to meeting with the president in person.
* 3.) Bülent Arınç:
– Mr. The president is in Istanbul today. The program is intense. Therefore, I was unable to meet today. I think tomorrow will be in Ankara and we can meet.
– I’ll do whatever it takes after I meet him.
* 4.) Bülent Arınç:
– I would like to know from him why he needed to give that speech under development conditions.
– After listening to it, “I was the recipient of that conversation. In this case, I can say, welcome to my letter of resignation. “
* 5.) Bülent Arınç:
– Because of me, I will not allow both our president and the High Advisory Council (YIK) to erode. It doesn’t go with me.
* 6.) Bülent Arınç:
– There have been some comments about some of my statements before, like “What is someone doing in YİK?” However, I have much more to do.
– But it gets to the point that sometimes it’s better to go than to stay there.
* 7.) I asked Bülent Arınç:
– It appears that your meeting with the president will result in your resignation. So will YİK just leave the presidential membership or resign from the AK Party?
Arınç: Of course, only from YİK. Why should I leave the party?
WHAT DID ERDOĞAN SAY?
AKP Chairman and Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan criticized Bülent Arınç’s words about Osman Kavala and Selahattin Demirtaş anonymously.
Erdogan said the following:
“In the last few days, we see that a new fire of contention is being started by using the emphasis we have placed on our reform agenda with some individual statements that have nothing to do with us. Although we have worked together in the past, no one’s personal statements can be linked to the president, our government, and our party.
It is clear what we say, where we are, where we are going, and there is not the slightest change in our direction. Those who are involved in terrorism, walking hand in hand with terrorism, can never be people with whom we are neither in contact with us nor in elbow. Those who are currently under the jurisdiction of the judiciary, those who caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of our people, Yasin Börü, the perpetrators of the Kobani massacre, will never be able to be defended by Tayyip Erdogan by his colleagues.
We say to those who join the CHP trail and the circles behind it: ‘Go, face your infighting with your sculptures and your dark negotiations, think from the side of this country and the nation. By complaining about Turkey, how the management of other countries and giving us the mind of where they attacked, you will be frustrated licking the end of those who think that in today’s politics say yesterday. We cannot be the defenders of those organizing the Gezi protests. We will continue on our path, accepting the highest honor of serving our nation today and tomorrow as it has been for 18 years. We, especially those of us who are the funders of Gezi events and who are within them, especially today and tomorrow, have never been their defenders, and we will no longer be ”.
‘WE CANNOT BE TOGETHER WITH TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS’
Noting that as a party that has been using its power for so many years, Erdogan has had shortcomings and mistakes, he said:
“When the address is correct, it is possible to fill in the gaps. Today, we seek the remedy in our nation with all our sincerity. Other than this, he rejects any attempt at sedition and mischief, and I want you to be careful. We cannot stand alongside those who march from Ankara to Istanbul hand in hand, arm in arm, shoulder to shoulder, with terrorist organizations. We can never be together with Kavalas and those who are the financiers of Gezi events. And we can’t forget about Kobani. We cannot defend those who killed our Kurdish brothers in Diyarbakır.
Do not regret those who embraced the law and defended it; Now they must know that the AK Party has never defended or defended them. But the AK Party supports our Yasin Börü brothers who were killed in Diyarbakır and will continue to be there. We are a nation that has always been oriented towards the west by keeping our ties to the east strong for thousands of years. Throughout the centuries, we have stamped our stamp on a wide geography as a means of relationship between different civilizations and cultures, as a representative of law and equity. For us, there is no distinction between Turks, Kurds, Laz, Circassians, Georgians, or Abaza. We are together, strong, brothers and Türkiye’yiz always together. “
