The Ministry of Education issued a circular with all the details in the field of education on the decisions taken to protect against the epidemic at the meeting of the Presidential Cabinet. Many new steps were taken, from students to teachers, from parents to children in kindergarten. Here are the details:
NURSERY CLOSED ALSO
Until Monday, January 4, all formal, private, formal and non-formal education activities will continue through distance education. All preschool institutions, kindergartens, elementary schools, middle and high schools, special education schools and classes, practical lessons in vocational secondary schools and special education courses will also be within this scope.
NO IN-HOUSE COURSES
There will be no face-to-face training in support and training courses and reinforcement courses.
OPEN REHABILITATION CENTERS
“Individual trainings” in rehabilitation and special education centers within the scope of the special education law with number 5580 can be conducted face to face.
THERE IS NO SINGLE EXAM IN 2020
There will be no face-to-face or remote exams until December 31, 2020.
THE MAIN BOARD WILL BE EBA
Live face-to-face application, EBA internet platform, printed and digital auxiliary resources will be used, the main channel being the EBA TRT channels. In TRT EBA, 1,653 videos of conferences were broadcast in 13 studios where 812 teachers worked in 112 branches.
THE EBA WEEKLY COURSE SCHEDULE WILL COME WITH SMS
The weekly TRT EBA course schedules will be sent to the mobile phones of our 18 million students via SMS. Lessons will be screened 3 times a day.
500 THOUSAND TABLETS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED BY THE END OF THE YEAR
30,000 tablets will be delivered to needy students within 10 days. 500 thousand tablets will be given to students at the end of the year.
CURRICULUM COMPATIBLE FOR 2021 LGS AND YKS
For our students preparing for core exams, work is underway to adapt the exam syllabus to the distance learning process. Details will be shared with the public next week.
TEACHERS WILL ALSO WORK REMOTE
In this process, our teachers will continue their work remotely, and will be able to come to our schools to receive distance education and benefit from tools such as computers and cameras.
TEACHERS WILL GO TO SCHOOL 1 WEEK
Branch teachers will go to schools at least 1 day a week to monitor and coordinate the distance learning process.
ADDITIONAL COURSE FEES WILL CONTINUE
Our teachers will continue to receive additional tuition fees during the distance education process.
PRESENTIAL ORIENTATION
In the Counseling and Research Centers, face-to-face services will continue for those who will be diagnosed for the first time.
TRANSFER REQUEST CLOSED
In this process, requests made through November 18, 2020 for inter-school transfer requests will be processed and no new requests will be received until December 31, 2020.
