IS THERE A REFUND OF THE SCHOLARSHIP?
If the institution deems it necessary, it can investigate the documents or the status of the scholarship students. The scholarship ends if an unrealistic problem is detected in the documents or the student’s situation as a result of the investigation. All scholarships paid become debt for educational loans and are collected in accordance with the principles determined in the Regulations for Higher Education Credit and Educational Credit for Hostel Institutions published in the Official Gazette dated 01/18/1997 and numbered 22881.
The scholarships of those who have been suspended for at least one semester from the educational institution where they are studying, end as of the date of sanction. If the disciplinary punishment is notified late by the educational institution, it is applied after the date of sanction. Scholarship amounts paid after this date become student loan debt and are collected in accordance with the provisions of the Student Loans for Hostel Institutions and Higher Education Credit Regulations.
While the scholarship is awarded to the student, if a situation arises that requires the interruption of the scholarship, the scholarship ends as of the date of interruption of the scholarship.
