The owner of the workplace, whose testimony was taken, was released after he told the people of Ağrılı that he was renting the warehouse. The drill belonging to the brother of geological engineer İlker Balık in Sultanbeyli, Istanbul was loaded onto a truck and stolen. The images of the moment of the robbery were recorded instantly by security cameras. When inspecting security cameras in the area, police determined that the giant drilling machine was loaded onto the truck by two people.
