In the chain accident involving 2 cars and 1 tractor in Tokat’s Zile district, 2 people were killed and 7 people injured. It turned out that Eşref Aydın, the driver of one of the cars involved in the accident, streamed live from his social media account at the time of the accident, and the accident was reflected on camera from one moment to the next.
The accident occurred at the entrance to the Zile district around 10:00 p.m. The car with 05 EH 492 under the direction of Eşref Aydın (40) on the road from Zile towards Turhal, collided with the beet harvester behind the 46 P 1269 plate tractor used by Satmiş Bal (40) in front of it, 57 FB under the direction of Yasin Erdoğan (41) in the opposite direction. It collided with a car of 596 plates.
Following the warning from the people around, firefighters and medical teams were dispatched to the region. Gülizar Demir (43) and Emine Demir (41) in Aydın’s car lost their lives in the accident. Tractor driver Satmiş Bal and car drivers Yasin Erdoğan and Eşref Aydın, along with Emine Uğurel (24), Fadime İnan (35), Fadime Erdoğdu (47) and Beyza Dursun were injured.
The injured were taken to the Zile State Hospital and treated after the first interventions carried out by the paramedics who came to the scene of the accident. The bodies of Gülizar Demir and Emine Demir, who lost their lives, were deposited in the morgue of the same hospital.
On the other hand, it was learned that the car driver Eşref Aydın made a live broadcast from his social media account at the time of the accident. The moment of the accident was seen from one moment to another. Police teams launched an investigation into the accident.
