Fenerbahçe announced that a total of 14 athletes and 4 staff members had positive cases as a result of tests carried out on the women’s basketball team.
Here is the statement from Fenerbahçe:
Our club had previously announced to the public that the test results of 4 players from our Fenerbahçe Öznur Kablo women’s basketball team and 1 staff from the technical team were positive.
Based on the new test results, it has become clear that the test results of 2 of our A-Team and 1 of our administrative staff are positive.
Based on the results of diagnostic tests from our Fenerbahçe development team; The test results of 8 players from our Development Team and 2 staff members from the technical and administrative team were determined to be positive.
Our 14 players and 4 staff of the technical and administrative team who were positively diagnosed in total were transferred to home isolation and their treatments began.
The public will be informed again as the issue progresses.
