How was your first day at the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix?

Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon achieved the best results on the first 1.5-hour training runs that took place at Intercity Istanbul Park on a 5.3-kilometer track.

Dutchman Verstappen became the fastest in the opening rounds of training with 1 minute 35.077 seconds, while Thai Albon was second, 0.241 seconds behind his teammate. Ferrari Monaco driver Charles Leclerc finished third, 0.430 seconds behind Verstappen’s first practice laps.

Hamilton finished 15th in the first round, 4th in second place

Aiming to reach his seventh career championship in Istanbul, British Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton ranked 15th in the opening rounds of practice with a time of 1.40.225. Hamilton’s teammate Fin Valtteri Bottas placed ninth with 1.37.629.

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen took first place in the second round of training. Verstappen ranked first with a time of 1.28.330. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc took second place with 1.28.731, while Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas took third place with 1.28.905.

Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton, who finished his first workout in 15th place, took 4th place in the 2nd workout with a time of 1.29.180.

Hamilton improved his time more than 11 seconds

Turkey has been aiming to reach the Mercedes Grand Prix since the 7th championship of his career, British Lewis Hamilton, while in the second round of practice he has developed more than 11 seconds.

Complaining about the slippery track and the difficulty of driving in the first laps of practice, championship leader Hamilton posted 4th best with a time of 1.29.180 in the second laps of practice.
