Greek Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Al Hami gave written responses to questions about the statement on Turkish Foreign Ministry’s eastern seismic exploration activities in the Mediterranean.

The following statements were made in the written statement made by the Ministry:

“The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs published another statement today (November 11), in which Oruç Reis reiterated his notorious objections to the seismic research activity that our ship continues to carry out on our continental shelf in the Eastern Mediterranean.

These statements are based on Greece’s claims of maximalist maritime borders contrary to international law and customs, and are of no judgment or value to us.

Turkey, the Eastern Mediterranean and within the framework of international law as well as its rights and legitimate TRNC will continue to resolutely defend its interests. Greece is sincere in its statement pointed out that the region wants solutions, make statements to increase tension, instead of being included in military operations against Turkey and third parties to deceive and provoke, it must give a positive response to our call for unconditional dialogue. ”
