President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a congratulatory message to Joe Biden, who won the presidential elections in the United States.
Erdogan used the following expressions in his message which began by saying “Dear President-elect”:
* I hope that the election results are beneficial to the friendly and allied people of the United States of America.
* During your Vice President As we have commented on several occasions in Turkey-United States, relations are of a strategic nature, based on a well-established foundation.
* Today’s global and regional challenges require us to further develop and strengthen these relationships based on common interests and values.
* I reiterate our determination to work closely with the US administration in this direction in the coming period, and I believe that the strong cooperation and partnership between our countries will continue to contribute to world peace in the future as it has been until today.
* Congratulations on your electoral success and express my sincere wishes for the peace and prosperity of the people of the United States of America.
Many international media outlets reported today that Erdogan did not congratulate Joe Biden, who announced his electoral victory recently.
