According to the President’s Decree published in the Official Gazette, Lütfi Elvan was appointed to the Ministry of Finance and Finance, who claimed his amnesty from his post and was vacated by the approval certificate.
The appointment was made in accordance with articles 104 and 106 of the Constitution.

Lütfi Elvan, the new Minister of Finance and Finance, was born in 1962 in the Ermenek district of Karaman. After graduating from the Faculty of Mining at Istanbul Technical University, Elvan completed his MA in Mining and Operations Research at the University of Leeds in England and in economics from the University of Delaware in the United States.
Elvan, who has served as a specialist, department head and deputy undersecretary in various public institutions, served as vice president of the Rural Development Group of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, president of the Board of the Center for Education and Youth of the European Union and member of the Steering and Monitoring Committee of EU Negotiations.
Elvan was elected AK Party deputy for Karaman in the 23rd and 24th period, Antalya in the 25th period, and Mersin in the 26th period.
23. Term Co-Chair of the Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee and Southeast Europe Cooperation Process Elvan is in Turkey Representative of the Parliamentary Planning and Budget Commission of the 24th Period, and later was Minister of Communications and Maritime Affairs.
Elvan served as Deputy Prime Minister in the 64th Government and as Development Minister in the 65th Government. Elvan, who was a Mersin deputy from the AK Party during the 27th term, was the chairman of the TBMM Plan and Budget Committee.
Elvan speaks very good English, is married and has 2 children.
