It was on the politicians’ agenda that the Minister of Finance and Finance, Berat Albayrak, announced his resignation with a statement he made on his Instagram account.
CHP spokesman Faik Öztrak said: “It is unclear whether the Minister of Finance and Finance has resigned for hours. The family struggle is ruining the economy. Our nation does not have to suffer the whims of the one-man regime.”
Referring to the fact that the issue could not be reported in the mainstream media, CHP Ankara deputy Murat Emir said: “Is there a resignation? No? The government is unable to handle even this process. When the palace is silent, the proposing media swallowed their language, waiting to know what to say. “
The leader of the İYİ party, Meral Akşener, shared a speech on his social media account in which he criticized Berat Albayrak and her father-in-law, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying: “Please review the schedule and budget excluding the groom’s minister of process”.
AKP deputy Kayseri and former group chairman Mustafa Elitaş said: “We hope that our president will not accept the resignation of our minister Berat Albayrak.”
Many AKP deputies shared their photos with President Erdogan in the early hours of the day, saying “Your path is ours,” and they also tagged Erdogan’s accounts and the Presidential Palace.
The Deputy Minister of Finance and Finance, Nureddin Nebati, first shared: “We love you very much, we believe and trust you, Mr. Minister,” and then, like the AKP deputies, “our path is the path of our president, our boss, our leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan … “.
HDP deputy İzmir Murat Çepni said that the “criminal alliance against the people” and “the chain of happiness” were breaking, “This is just the beginning!” used expressions.
Future Party leader Ahmet Davutoglu, a former prime minister, argued that state order in Turkey translated into tribal politics and understanding.
RTÜK president Ebubekir Şahin said: “Our case is the brotherhood case. Berat Albayrak, who sacrificed her family and sweat day and night to lead our country above contemporary civilizations, is indispensable for our happy cause”.
The HDP Istanbul MP Erol Katırcıoğlu then argued that sending such a message from the head of RTÜK, which should be “independent and impartial” according to the law, was a violation of the law.
Konya Saadet Party MP Abdülkadir Karaduman said Albayrak also “made a mistake” with the resignation due to its lack of merit.
MHP politicians did not comment on the resignation.
