The Interior Ministry’s Emergency and Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) announced that the number of people who died in the İzmir earthquake increased to 115.
According to the AFAD statement, after the 6.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred on October 30, a total of 2,846 aftershocks were registered, of which 46 were of more than 4 magnitudes.
According to information obtained from the Sanitary Disaster Coordination Center (SAKOM), 115 people died in the earthquake, 1,011 of the 1,034 injured were discharged and 23 people are still under treatment.
