Notes from the statements of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan;
* Today, we are excited to work on the unveiling of a monument that will be proud of all of Turkey in Kahramanmaras. This project is a strategic investment. This 61.1 km long road has 11 double tube tunnels and 6 crossings. We name this path as the Literary Path.
* The 80 km distance between Kahramanmaraş and Göksun was passed in 80 minutes. Now we shortened the distance of this road by 16 km and reduced the travel time to 41 minutes. We saved TL 75 million of time and TL 55 million of fuel oil. Literature Road joins Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep State Road. This 4 trillion 671 million lire work will take Kahramanmaraş to a very different point.
* We did not care about obstacles, we did not bow to those who tried to block us. We change the environment of our cities with the schools, universities, roads, residences and dams that we build. We have survived the era by adding strength to the power of our country by increasing production.
* For 2002 compared to today compared to 18 years ago, Turkey has become a more balanced structure, infrastructure has narrowed the gap between our provinces. Whatever there is in Ankara, Hakkari has it. Regardless of the opportunities our Izmir brothers have in Istanbul, our Adıyaman citizens have the same opportunities.

* We have not only corrected injustices in our investments. We make sure that each individual trusts their state.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The journey, which lasted 80 minutes on the previously used route, can be completed in 39 minutes thanks to the new 64.1-kilometer divided highway.
Thanks to the shortened road and reduced time, a total of 130.3 million lire will be saved annually, 75.2 million lire on time and 55.1 million lire of fuel oil.
There are 11 double tube tunnels with a total length of 16,316 meters on the highway, costing 4.6 billion lira.

In addition, there are 2 viaducts with a length of 570 meters, 3 bridges with a length of 145 meters and 6 crossings with a length of 734 meters.
The highway will be integrated with the Kayseri-Kahramanmaraş-Gaziantep state highway, will form part of the east-west and north-south axes, and will contribute to the social and economic development of the region through the provision of transit traffic and tourist circulation.
With the opening of the highway, the aim is to provide quick and easy access to the tourist centers of the southeastern Anatolia region.
