In the works carried out to save Erakman, crews demolished the top 4 floors of the 7-story building in a controlled manner and search and rescue efforts were accelerated.
With the reach of Erakman’s lifeless body, search and rescue efforts in Barış Sitesi ended. While the bodies of 9 people were removed from the site that returned to the rubble, 3 people were rescued alive.
It is reported that the 4 blocks of the site will be demolished in a controlled manner and then debris removal works will begin.
