The earthquake that occurred in Izmir’s Seferihisar district burned our hearts. In the earthquake, Günay Özışık, a tenth grade student in the Veterinary Department of the Western Anatolian Vocational Health High School and the best student in the school, survived the magnitude 6.6 earthquake and survived.

His father was also at work, Gunay was at home His cousin came with him, two of them were sitting in his house. When the earthquake happened, I immediately called Gunay. ” I heard him pick up the phone and yell “Anneee.” At that time the building was destroyed and buried under rubble.
“IN INTENSIVE CARE, THANK YOU”
I called my wife and told her to go home, we couldn’t get to Günay. It took me 2 hours to get home from the hospital due to traffic. I saw the destroyed building, I thought how my son would get out of there. Thank God the rescuers, police and paramedics took my son out 10 hours later. Now in intensive care they are trying to save his legs, his kidneys are injured. It will be saved by the license of Allah. Thank God for that. “
“REGISTERED BY PHONE”
Noting that her son was waiting for search and rescue teams under the rubble in cold blood, the mother said. “He is a very conscientious and intelligent boy. He never let go while he was under the rubble. He had a mobile phone in his hand and he took the pictures around him because he finally spoke to me on the phone. He called 112 4 times. We saw him today when he plugged in The phone. He sent me voice messages; he said, ‘Mom, I’m under the rubble.
“CRUSHED LEGS AND BELOW”
None of them reached me. When he heard that his cousin was rescued, he yelled, ‘Ahmet, I’m here too, save me too. His cousin was leaving the classroom during the earthquake and he was probably leaving his room. His cousin was rescued 2 hours later. Gunay was later contacted. His legs and waist down are crushed under the spine. “
