Mesut Yılmaz’s wife Berna Yılmaz, his son Hasan Yılmaz, and his brother Turgut Yılmaz accept their condolences. Mesut Yılmaz’s coffin wrapped in the Turkish flag was carried to the mosque on the shoulders of the police parade.
Berna Yılmaz, who approached the coffin placed on the stone of Musalla, prayed placing her hands on her chest. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and many new and old politicians are expected to attend the funeral.
A funeral prayer will be held for Mesut Yılmaz after the noon prayer. Yılmaz will be buried next to his son Yavuz Yılmaz.
SOME ROADS ARE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
Some roads were closed to traffic and alternative routes were determined. Roads closed to traffic and alternative routes are as follows: Vehicle entrance to Aksoy Street will be closed from Sırma Perde Street and no power will be given to the direction of Aksoy Street. Traffic will be closed from Kısıklı Street to Shibuya Street and the flow will be given to Kısıklı Street. Coming from Kısıklı Street and returning to Mahir İz Street following Nuhkuyusu Street, the crossing will be closed to traffic and no vehicles will be yielded in the direction of Mahir İz Street. Traffic will be in the direction of Nuhkuyusu Caddesi Karacaahmet Cemetery.
