İnci said, “I’m glad to be home alone. I had no father. My dad couldn’t fit in there, he hit his head or something. I am small in stature. I could huddle somewhere and escape like this. Edanur Doğan, a UMKE staff member, met İnci Okan, with whom he spoke under the rubble, this time at the hospital. Dogan promised, “I will come visit again.” “You’re going to fiddle for me,” he said, referring to his promise under the rubble. Minister Koca replied: “Let’s all listen to the violin.”

DOCTORS ANNOUNCED HEALTH STATUS
For İnci Okan, his doctors shared the information that “His general condition is good, there is no problem with his kidneys for now.” Minister Koca told İnci Okan: “Get well soon, let my Lord heal, don’t forget about us. He ended his visit by saying, “Is it okay to pray?”

İnci Okan, who was buried under the rubble of the Rıza Bey apartment, which collapsed in the 6.9-magnitude earthquake in İzmir, was rescued 17 hours later by Edanur Doğan, an official from the UMKE Health Ministry.
