The minibus driver, İrfan Özyürek, observed the van that became unusable through tears. Özyürek’s wife tried to comfort her husband, who burst into tears. Özyürek called his son on the phone and informed him that his car was on fire. Thinking his father was joking, the young man came across a burning truck when he arrived at the scene.

İrfan Özyürek told the paramedics who tried to comfort him: “It is more than dying, you have to understand this. I have no income every month, I work as a freelancer. How am I going to bring bread to my offspring and my son? It was something that had a reward, ”he said.
