Seven DAESH members who were deemed capable of performing during the Republic Day ceremonies on October 29 and November 10 in Ankara were detained in two separate operations. It was determined that MBHA, one of the suspects, participated in the organization as an executioner.
According to the written statement of the Ankara Attorney General’s Office; During the Republic Day celebrations on October 29 and the ceremonies on November 10, informative information was obtained that the terrorist organization DAESH could take actions to convey the message that the organization is still active.
Research conducted on the two groups in Turkey, while in conflict zones in Iraq and Syria showed active operations. Today a simultaneous operation was carried out in accordance with the instructions and decisions given by the Ankara Attorney General’s Office. 7 suspects were caught and detained in two separate operations.

During the search carried out in the houses where the suspects were hiding, a large number of organizational documents and digital materials were seized. It was also determined that MBHA, who was arrested, participated in the organization as executioners, while ABHC and BCŞ were active in the organization as armed men and participated in conflicts. The investigation into the operation is ongoing.
