The security forces, continuing their efforts to decipher the activities of the terrorist organization PKK / KCK, wanted to stop a truck at the security point in the Kozludere district of the Payas district of Hatay. There was a brief confrontation following the burning of two terrorists in the vehicle. Subsequently, the fugitive terrorists seized the vehicle of a citizen who they stopped on the road after an accident with a pickup truck and continued their escape towards the town of Iskenderun.
The explosion was heard from many parts of the district.
Clashes broke out with the terrorists in the vehicle followed by the security forces on Fener Street in İskenderun district. While one of the terrorists was neutralized during the conflict; a violent explosion occurred. The explosion, heard in many parts of the city, caused damage to surrounding homes and businesses. According to preliminary determinations, it was reported that there were no civilian victims or any person killed by the security forces in the explosion.

The police, who blocked the area, were reported to neutralize the other terrorist. The Interior Minister, Süleyman Soylu, in his publication on his Twitter account, gave the expressions “Well done to our heroes. Both are in hand. We will tell their story.”
