Mehmet Doğan (35), who became ill after some time after drinking fake alcohol in Izmir, was treated at Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Research and Training Hospital, and Doğan Aksın (76) was treated at a private city hospital.
Doğan and Aksın, who were treated in the intensive care unit, could not be saved despite all the interventions. The bodies of Doğan and Aksın were taken to the morgue of the Izmir Institute of Forensic Medicine after the prosecutor’s investigation.
The exact cause of death for Doğan and Aksın will be determined as a result of the autopsy. On the other hand, the number of people who lost their lives to fake alcohol increased to 35 citywide.
TWO PEOPLE LOSE MORE LIVES
Can Yilmaz, who lives in Izmir’s Konak district this morning, was hospitalized for fake alcohol and lost his life despite all the interventions carried out here. Also in Izmir, Ali V., who was poisoned by a fake drink, died at Tepecik Research and Training Hospital, where he was treated.
THE NUMBER INCREASES TO 80
On October 9 in several cities in Turkey today the death toll rose to 80 from fake liquor.
