Recently, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov quarantined himself for 10 days on the grounds that he was in contact with Deputy Minister of Regional Development Nikolay Nankov, who caught Covid-19.
In his statement, Borisov stated that the Covid-19 test was negative, but was quarantined as a precaution.
In a statement he made on his social media account, Borisov said:
* After two PCR tests, today I am Covid-19 positive. I don’t feel good in general. I will be treated at home with the decision of the doctors.
* All names I contacted have been reported to the corresponding health institution. We will outperform the unsuspecting by following the steps together.
Due to the increasing number of cases in Bulgaria, entertainment centers such as bars and nightclubs were closed in many regions. The total number of cases in the country reached 37,562 and the total loss of life reached 1.84. (İHA)
