The Ministry of Commerce warned customs agencies about products coming from abroad by mail and fast shipping. According to the letter from the Ministry, for medicines brought from abroad for use in personal treatment, the prescription of the patient’s own doctor will be valid as well as the reports issued by health institutions abroad. The exception to the ban on mobile phones per charge will be phones forgotten abroad.
The Ministry of Commerce reported on products from abroad by mail or rapid freight transport. In the letter addressed to the regional directorates of Customs and Foreign Trade from the Ministry, it was recalled that personal products that do not exceed 1500 euros and 30 kilograms can be brought by load, and that there is a customs exemption for goods that do not exceed the 22 euros. According to the article, the customs limits are not many pieces of cargo, but the cargo that reaches a person on the same day will be taken into account. The procedure for some goods will be as follows:
Cash on delivery is prohibited
The goods brought by the importing companies as a sample or model will be declared exempt from customs duties.
Checks and cash brought into the country by mail or expedited will first be screened for quality to be transferred through banks. Checks or money received from abroad will not be allowed to be delivered to the recipient by mail and express cargo. These shipments will be kept in the reservation room.
Drugs brought by mail or express cargo for personal treatment will be allowed if the customs official decides that the recipient is related to the treatment of his illness and this is decided in the investigation. If a medical report, medical report, or prescription is presented to customs, drugs will be brought into the country. Medical report issued by health institutions abroad or prescription can also be accepted as valid document for entering Turkey.
If the medicine comes in the name of a relative of the patient, a written statement will be requested from both people.
Cell phone exception
To put the mobile phone into free circulation in Turkey, only passengers with the need to have the status of personal belongings. Cell phones shipped by freight before or after the trip will not be accepted in the dorm, even if they are within range of “goods with passengers.” Mobile phone from abroad, mail or tax exempt paid by fast charge or in any way not in Turkey

Alcohol, alcoholic products, tobacco products, those that are consumed by heating or burning, and electronic cigarettes and electronic hookah products used in a way that mimics tobacco products, whether or not they contain nicotine, all types of products with narcotic effects and stimulants.
Firearms other than those carried by ambassadors, consuls, officers, security personnel and other security guards in Turkish missions.
