National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar made a statement after the NATO Defense Ministers Meeting held with the videoconferencing method within the scope of corona virus measures.
Stating that the meeting discussed regional and global issues, as well as defense and deterrence issues, Akar used the following statements:

Stating that the events between Azerbaijan and Armenia were on the meeting’s agenda, Minister Akar said:
* We had the opportunity to express our assessments on what must be done to guarantee peace and stability.
* The main issue we have mentioned is that the basic condition for ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus is that Armenia leave its native lands of Azerbaijan occupied and leave it as soon as possible. We made this point during speeches.
“WE TALK OUR IDEAS EVERYWHERE, WE KEEP SAYING”
Akar, the Turkish Aegean and international law in solving problems related to events in the Mediterranean, good neighborly relations, said he was in favor of dialogue and political solutions.

Navtex messages and navigation announcements in Turkish territorial waters are issued by the Directorate of Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography of the Naval Forces Command of the broadcasting stations of Antalya, Samsun, Istanbul and Izmir. Cruise announcements are binding on all civil and military ships and vessels.
