ANKARA police teams carried out an operation against a criminal organization known as “Barutlar”, which was found to be involved in many crimes. In the operation, 20 people were arrested, many checks, drugs and guns were seized.
After the work of teams from the Ankara Police Department’s Organized Crime Division, the criminal organization known as ‘Gunpowder’ was followed, which was found to be involved in many crimes. After the technical and physical monitoring of the police, simultaneous operations were carried out in 22 houses and 4 workplaces. In the operation, 20 suspects were arrested along with the leader of the HB organization. Work has started to capture 4 fugitive suspects.
Meanwhile, in the search carried out at the home and workplace of the suspects, numerous checks and notes, drugs, pills subject to red and green prescription, pistols of different sizes and the cartridges belonging to these pistols were seized.

The suspects were found to be trying to restructure in the region after the urban transformation works in the Altındağ region and were therefore in conflict with other groups in the region. It was determined that the suspects were also involved in many crimes such as “Drug Trafficking”, “Providing a place and opportunity for gambling”, “Usury”, “Deliberate injury”. The investigation continues.
