Making a statement to Ahmet Hakan on CNN Türk, Istanbul İYİ Party Deputy Prof. Dr. Ümit Özdağ made important remarks about Ankara İYİ Party deputy Koray Aydın and Istanbul İYİ Party Provincial Chairman Buğra Kavuncu.
Özdağ said:
“Koray Aydın is trying to establish a co-chair of the İYİ Party. He is trying to take the İYİ Party under his control. Özdağ also accused Buğra Kavuncu, provincial chairman of the Istanbul Good Party, of being a member of the terrorist organization FETO.

“Before Buğra Kavuncu came to the IYI Party, I warned Meral Akşener that he could be a member of FETO,” said Özdağ, “Meral Hanım told me that he had met with the most important person in the state on security and that there was no information negative about Buğra Kavuncu. Ümit Özdağ based the claim that Istanbul Provincial President Buğra Kavuncu is a member of the terrorist organization FETÖ and that he was the founder and director of the Association of Turkish Businessmen of Kazakhstan (KATİAD), which was closed to FETÖ over the years who was in Kazakhstan when Enver Altaylı was his nephew.
