Bünyamin Özkan, 36, and his son, Eymen Özkan, 5, who died as a result of a car accident while walking along the sidewalk to go to the grocery store in the central Selçuklu district of Konya, were buried in Üçler Cemetery after funeral prayers at Hacıveyis Mosque.
Mother Sibel Özkan, who was injured in the same accident and discharged after her treatment, sent her son and her husband on their last wheelchair trip.

The necessary precautions must be taken for these people and the most severe penalties imposed. We expect our elders to be make laws that require penalties or whatever is necessary. My nephew was a 5-year-old boy. My brother was also a person who came home from work and liked to help the people around him. It is a murder of the driver. I hope that the necessary measures be taken as soon as possible and we want him to receive the severest punishment. Families hand over their car keys and let young people out.
