Armenia continues its attacks against civilians in violation of the second temporary humanitarian ceasefire with Azerbaijan.
The Armenian army was reported to have attacked a cotton factory in the city of Karakoyunlu, Terter. The authorities stated that the Armenian forces attacked the cotton factory with 7 projectiles. It was reported that firefighters were dispatched to the factory where intense smoke rose.
One civilian was injured, 25 houses were seriously damaged in Armenia’s attack on civilians in violation of the second temporary humanitarian ceasefire with Azerbaijan.
In the written statement of the Azerbaijan Attorney General’s Office, it was stated that Armenia had carried out heavy artillery attacks against the villages of Terter and Ağcabedi in Azerbaijan.
In the statement, it was noted that a 58-year-old resident of the village of Elesgerli in Terter was injured in the attack carried out by the Armenian armed forces.
It was reported that it hit the villages of Yukarı Kıyameddinli and Karahanlı in Ağcabedi, Armenia, with howitzers and heavy artillery, and severely damaged 25 houses in the treacherous attack carried out with a 7.5 ton SCUD missile.
The center of Terter city, which Armenia has attacked the most since September 27 and located near the front line, was calm yesterday, the first day of the ceasefire. People went home from safe areas, took their valuables and belongings, and left the city.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated on his Twitter account that the Armenian army fired heavy artillery fire on Azerbaijani civilian settlements and positions in public violation of the temporary humanitarian ceasefire that took effect on October 18.
