The Health Ministry warned citizens against scams using fake phone apps.
In the statement made on the Twitter address of the Ministry, it was noted that it was determined that an attempt was made to defraud citizens by using a fake phone application that gave the impression of belonging to the Ministry of Health.
In the statement that warns citizens “do not click on false websites and links, do not endanger your digital security”, the following was recorded:
“The scammers send a text message to people promising to pay 3,000 lira of pandemic support to each family. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey has no obligation or job to provide financial support to citizens. Deceptive such as ‘edevlet-pandemidestekdetay.com’, ‘trkisalt.com/pandemidestek’ Do not trust the named websites and applications on these sites. Access information from official sources, support the dissemination of correct information. ”
It was determined that an attempt was made to defraud citizens by using a fake phone app that appeared to belong to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.
