Member of the Board of Social Sciences of the Ministry of Health and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Gazi University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Necmi İlhan said: “At the end of June, a study of 153 thousand people was carried out with the sample taken from TÜİK. This same work will be repeated in the coming days. Antibodies and swabs will be brought to designated homes. In this way, we will take a photo of the entire society. We will determine our level of immunity and establish a strategy accordingly. We will also learn how we should plan vaccination studies. Surveys will end next month. In metropolitan cities like Istanbul and Ankara, where the disease is more common, we expect increased immunity. However, the number of immune people may be less than the population, ”he said.
“OTHER CLASSES WILL BE OPEN”
İlhan also had the following to say about the transition to face-to-face training:
“From now on, the intermediate classes will gradually open. In the next term, grades 5, 6 and 7 or 9, 10, 11 can open at the same time, perhaps with an interval of one week. This is a very correct approach. Therefore, we will identify those who are asymptomatic here. “
