The motorcycle, which was apparently moving rapidly on Istanbul’s Şirinevler D-100 side road, struck Özgür Burgu (34), who was trying to cross the road.
Burgu, who worked as a kettle at the minibus stop, was blown up by the impact and hit his head on the iron pontoons. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene after people around them reported the situation.
He lost his life in the hospital
The health teams took Burgu, who was seriously injured, to hospital after his first intervention. Burgu, who was the father of two children and learned that one of his children had Down syndrome, could not save himself despite all the interventions, and died.
