While the Greek government has purchased long-range acoustic devices (LRAD) that produce sound waves strong enough to make deaf people able to be used against possible influxes of refugees and immigrants at the Meriç border, on the other hand, it started the construction of a new wall of 26.5 kilometers. According to the information obtained, 2 recently acquired LRAD mobile devices were handed over to the Greek Police Organization. Meanwhile, construction of the new wall, 26.5 kilometers long and about 4.5 meters high, has started on the Meriç border. The wall will be built in the town of Farecik (Ferres), in three separate points, 9, 15 and 2.5 kilometers long. Psychological alterations and effects such as continuous tinnitus can be observed in people who are highly exposed to this situation.
