ATTORNEY’S APPEAL
The Konya Prosecutor General’s Office filed an objection with the Konya Regional Court of Justice demanding that the unfair provocation discount granted to Şeker be applied to the highest limit, considering the scope of the file, the evidence and the manner in which the incident occurred.

Preparing for the university exam to study at the medical school, Şeker was sentenced to life imprisonment before the hearing held yesterday in the 3rd Superior Criminal Court, where he was tried for ‘deliberate homicide’. This sentence was reduced to 15 years first for having committed the crime by unjust provocation, and to 12.5 years, taking into account the good conduct of Kadir Şeker at trial.
In the ruling issued in court, the Public Ministry demanded the application of the reduction of unfair provocation at the highest limit, objected to the decision of the Konya Regional Court of Justice and renewed its request.
