Fevzi Öztürk, who was charged with being a member of FETÖ and was released under house arrest while in custody at the 20th Higher Criminal Court in Izmir, was arrested again.

It was claimed that after Öztürk’s release date, new and additional evidence was sent to the İzmir Prosecutor General’s Office based on his consecutive contact with military personnel who had been treated for the attempted coup and membership in FETÖ, according to the work of the National Intelligence Organization.

Öztürk was detained again at night by teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command.

OPERATION IN 15 CITIES CENTERED IN ISTANBUL

32 suspects were caught in the operation against the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in 15 provinces based in Istanbul.

As a result of studies carried out by the Istanbul Police Department’s Fight Against Financial Crimes teams, the organization’s private imams were contacted through public telephones and landlines, the numbers of the candidates were coded in the examinations of Interviews conducted for the admission of students to the Naval Academy and Vocational School for Naval NCOs, and determined that they were placed in the TAF by the organization and that they carried out organizational activities.
